Alice Lu, Ph.D.

Senior Director, Operations
 
Dr. Alice Lu is in charge of Pharmaron Preclinical Services Laboratory’s client services activities, including project management, IT, validation program and facility related operations. She also works closely with the company’s global business departments to support the company’s business development and sales/marketing activities. She is also a member of the Executive Leadership committee at the Preclinical Services Laboratory, which was set up in early 2008 as core team responsible for the facility’s operation.
 
Dr. Lu has over 16 years experience in health care and life science fields. Prior to joining the company, she was the Associate Director of the GCRC at the University of Michigan Hospitals, a Federal government sponsored clinical trial center. In the past, Dr. Lu has held various research and management positions in medical research organizations, biotechnology firms and clinical trial organizations in US, and accumulated extensive experiences in multi-discipline function areas, including medical research, IT, project management/client services and operation optimization.
 
Dr. Lu holds a Ph.D. in Molecular Oncology from Queensland Institute of Medical Research, Australia. She also received her M.Sc. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Wayne State University, U.S.A. Her undergraduate degree was in Biochemistry from Shandong University, China.
