Bioorganic Chemistry

Pharmaron has extensive expertise in bioorganic chemistry including nucleotides, lipids, carbohydrates, and peptides, as well as conjugation chemistry.

 

Recent projects:

• Designed and completed several 10 gram, multi-step (>12 steps) syntheses of special nucleoside phosphoramidites.
• Achieved the total synthesis of a group of glycosphingolipid compounds with a convergent route consisting of 31 total steps.
• Attained customer-designed phospholipid-PEG (2000) compounds site-specifically conjugated to peptides on gram scales, starting with fatty acids and poly(ethylene glycol).
