Hui Zhuang, Ph.D.

Director, Business Development

Dr. Hui Zhuang has served as Director of Business Development & Project Management since June, 2008.  Prior to joining Pharmaron, she was project manager at Kalypsys, Inc., where she was responsible for setting up and directing the high throughput organic synthesis group.  Dr. Zhuang was also involved in the discovery of a number of pre-clinical small molecule anti-inflammatory compounds.   From 1993 to 2002, Dr. Zhuang held a number of positions with increasing responsibilities at DPII/IRORI, EMD ( Merck), where her research interests focused in the development and application of novel synthetic technologies in lead discovery and lead optimization.

Dr. Zhuang received her BS in Chemistry from Beijing University and Ph.D. at University of Illinois.
