Jie Wu, Ph.D.
Executive Director, ChemistryDr. Jie Wu joined Pharmaron in 2003 and was promoted to the positions of Group Leader in 2004, Associate Director of Chemistry in 2005, Director of Chemistry in 2006, Sr. Director of Chemistry in 2008 and Executive Director of Chemistry in 2009. Dr. Wu’s experience covers modern heterocyclic chemistry, organometallic chemistry, solid-phase combinatorial chemistry and asymmetric synthesis.
She received her B.Sc. from West China University of Medical Science (now West China Center of Medical Science, Sichuan University) in 1995 and her Ph.D. in medicinal chemistry under the supervision of Prof. Ke-Liang Liu at the Chinese Academy of Military Medical Science in 2003.
