Jingqi Huang, M.D.

 

Dr. JingQi Huang is Executive Director, Metabolic and Cardiovascular Pharmacology, at Pharmaron. She is a professional scientist with pharmaceutical and academic research experience.  For the last 12+ years, she worked as a research pharmacologist at the Merck Frosst Centre for Therapeutic Research in Montreal, Canada and participated in several key drug development programs. Prior of that, she worked at Human Genetic Laboratories, Research Institute of McGill University Teaching Hospital (Montreal Children’s Hospital), for more than 6 years. In addition, she has 3 years of clinical practice background.  She has enhanced in vivo and in vitro skills, particularly in CNS and cardiovascular areas and familial histology as well as immunohistochemistry. During her industry career period, she received a Merck Special Achievement Award.

Dr. Huang received her M.D. from Tianjin Medical University, China and a M.Sc. degree in Pathology from McGill University, Canada. She also obtained her Ph.D. candidacy qualification at the Cancer Centre from McGill University. Dr. Huang has participated in a number of international conferences and has co-authored several scientific articles in world leading journals including four cover page articles as highlight of monthly issues.
