Kexin Yang, Ph.D.

In 2004, Dr. Kexin Yang joined Pharmaron as Project Manager, responsible for contract research projects for one major partner. Prior to joining Pharmaron, Dr. Yang worked at Advanced ChemTech (later Advanced SynTech) as Senior Scientist, where he carried out research work related to high throughput library synthesis, including scaffold design, process development, and automated library production.

Dr. Yang received his B.Sc. in chemistry in 1983 from Northwest Normal University and his M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry in 1986 from Lanzhou University. After obtaining his Ph.D. in late1992 from the University of Calgary, Dr. Yang did a few years postdoctoral research in the fields of liquid crystal materials, cardiovascular relaxing agents, synthetic porphorines, and laboratory automation at Queen’s University, Carnegie-Mellon University and North Carolina State University.
