Pharmaron Appoints Tina Huang, Ph.D. as General Manager of Preclinical

BEIJING-February 24, 2011-Pharmaron Holding Limited today announced that Dr.
Tina Huang has been appointed as the General Manager of the Preclinical
Services reporting to Mr. Larry Lou, President & COO of Pharmaron. Dr.
Huang was a Senior Vice President at Pharmaron, responsible for preclinical
services, including US FDA GLP-compliant toxicology, safety pharmacology,
pathology, bioanalysis, providing services to partners for preclinical
development.

"Dr. Huang has made a significant contribution strategically, to
strengthening and expanding of the preclinical service capability and
capacity at Pharmaron, particularly to the success of integration of former
Bridge Laboratories China with Pharmaron. Her proven track record in the
toxicology industry, coupled with her strong leadership in operation, will
continue to benefit Pharmaron being the leader in the CRO industry."
Today, Pharmaron's AAALAC-accredited toxicology facility in Beijing is one
of the largest vivariums in China. Pharmaron has a proven track record in
GLP toxicology services, including more than 400 studies performed and 16
IND packages accepted. Its preclinical service team has completed numerous
chronic toxicity studies including 12-month chronic tox studies for U.S.
clients-often with significantly shorter report timelines and at pricing
that is consistently 30 to 50 percent lower than that provided by competing
international CROs.
