Professor Hanessian Delivered a Chemistry Short Course at Pharmaron Beijing -

On the 16-17th of November, 2009, Dr. Stephen Hanessian, Professor of Chemistry from University of Montreal, Canada, and Professor at the Departments of Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Sciences at University of California, Irvine, USA, delivered a two day short course of chemistry to chemists at Pharmaron Beijing, entitled as “Topics in Carbohydrate Chemistry and Biology”. The lectures were well received by the chemists at Pharmaron, which provided a great opportunity for Pharmaron’s chemists to discuss with Professor Hanessian directly. This is the third time that Professor Hanessian came to Pharmaron Beijing to give chemistry related short courses.
This short course is part of a long term training program at Pharmaron geared toward the training of scientists at Pharmaron, which invites, on a regularly basis, academic and industry leaders worldwide to give lectures at Pharmaron.
