William You

 

Mr. William You joined Pharmaron in 2004 and was promoted to the positions of Group Leader in 2005, Associate Director of Chemistry in 2006, Director of Chemistry in 2007, Senior Director of Chemistry in 2009, and Executive Director in 2011.  Currently, Mr. You leads the chemistry department at Pharmaron’s subsidiary in Xi’an, working in a wide range of custom synthesis projects including fast and cost-effective generation of small molecule compound libraries, scale-up synthesis of intermediates and various drug molecules to support medicinal chemistry and process development. Mr. You’s experience covers a broad range of modern synthetic chemistry including high throughput organic synthesis, chiral synthesis, heterocyclic chemistry, organometallic chemistry and fluorine chemistry.
