An Automated Workflow for Phenotypic Drug Discovery with Cell Painting

In this poster we present Pharmaron’s comprehensive cell profiling service enabling economic and systematic phenotypic drug discovery.

The service integrates four key components

  1. Cell culturing and drug transfer
  2. Cell painting
  3. High-content imaging
  4. Machine learning-assisted image analysis

In a pilot study on 390 kinase inhibitors, we confirm the power of this phenotypic drug discovery approach to categorize test articles with similar targets or mode of actions (MoA).
