PAST EVENT: 34th North America Chapter Meeting of the International Isotope Society

A stately white building with arched windows and a cupola, surrounded by lush greenery, with a green and gold sign for The Madison Hotel in Morristown.

Thank you for joining Pharmaron on October 17-18 to learn more about our Integrated Radiolabeled Drug Metabolism and PK.

Pharmaron was excited to exhibit at the 34th North America Chapter Meeting of the International Isotope Society, held on October 17-18, 2024, at The Madison Hotel in Morristown, NJ. This event focused on synthesizing, analyzing, and applying isotopically labeled compounds and bringing together top industry experts and researchers.

Nick Summerhill, Principal Chemist at Pharmaron, presented on  ‘A Robust Synthesis of Carbon-14 Labelled 2-Chlorophenyl Cyclopentyl Ketone route to Ketamine. The presentation highlighted innovative approaches in radiochemistry and the synthesis of carbon-14-labeled compounds.

If you missed us to gain valuable insights into the synthesis techniques that support drug development and radiolabeling studies, you can still connect by requesting a meeting to learn more.

About the 34th North America Chapter Meeting of the International Isotope Society

The symposium will focus on the synthesis, analysis, and application of isotopically labeled compounds. Research presentations on novel synthetic methods towards either radioactive or stable isotope-labeled compounds and advances in the analysis and/or purification of labeled compounds will be of interest. Some potential presentation topics include isotopically labeled compounds in pharmacokinetics and drug metabolism, biological drug R&D, biomarker and in vivo imaging, and clinical studies.
