Our Conference Talk

  • Title: Jet Milling in Pharma R&D: Insights into Robust Micronisation Process Development
    • Speaker: Filip Horvath-Gerber, Senior Process Engineer (Process Chemistry)
    • Time: Thursday, April 16th, 14:30 to 15:10
    • Session Chaired By: Max Espensen, Pharmaron UK
    • Abstract:
      • Jet milling is a micronisation technique commonly implemented within pharmaceutical settings for delivery of particle sizes below 10 micron with narrow particle size distribution, thus enabling advanced product formulation. The talk will present fundamental understandings of the unit’s operation, cautionary tales from the system setup within CDMO settings, the use of appropriate analytical techniques, and dig deeper into the current state of predictive modelling.
